The app: no account required
MenoMotion works anonymously by default — there's no sign-up, login, or email required to use it. On first launch the app creates an anonymous profile on your device. Anything you enter during onboarding (menopause stage, activity level, goals, country) and any daily check-ins, symptom logs, workout history, and progress notes you add are stored against that anonymous profile, not a real-world identity.
The app: subscriptions
Premium (ad-free access and extra training plans) is purchased through Apple's or Google's in-app purchase system. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple/Google — we never see your card information. We use RevenueCat to receive confirmation that a purchase was made, so we can unlock Premium on your anonymous profile.
The app: ads
MenoMotion shows banner and optional rewarded-video ads through Google AdMob. These ads are non-personalized only — we don't share your device's advertising identifier, and the app doesn't show an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it doesn't track you across other apps or websites.
The app: where your data lives
The app's backend runs on Render and stores data in MongoDB Atlas. Both exist to run the app for you — we don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
The app: export and delete
You can export or permanently delete all of your data at any time from Settings inside the app. Deleting your account removes your anonymous profile and everything tied to it.
This website: the waitlist
Joining the waitlist on this page collects your email address, and — only if you choose to share them — a first name and which symptom you're most hoping to improve. We use this to let you know about MenoMotion updates and to understand which symptoms matter most to the people signing up. We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us (below) and we'll remove your address.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The current version is always the one posted here.
